A: It depends on two things: screen size and distance from the screen. For screens under 65", you have to sit fairly close to the display to be able to really see the difference. From 70" up, it becomes far more noticeable. However: HDR is a different animal. Even with my 55" screen, 4K HDR is a vast improvement over 1080. I've noticed on both Amazon and Netflix with my Roku Ultra as the source that the image is fantastic. Since this player and your TV support HDR, I think it is worthwhile. I have not viewed an actual 4K Blu Ray with HDR on a TV, but it should be even better than the online sources.

A: Yes both the Philips and the Panasonic output 8, 10 and 12. The Samsung does NOT Support 10Bit HDR

A: Yes it does. I've check on my projector and this unit Outputs, 8, 10 and 12 bit. Picture quality is awesome!

A: Yes, but only if you set the player to Bitstream and connect it to an AV receiver that supports Dolby Atmos.
