A: Hello! No, the Philips Norelco S9311/84 shaver does not have a pop-up trimmer. However, it does have a separate Smartclick precision trimmer attachment.
Q: Will this shave with foam or gel?
A: Yes it does, I use a gel start that foams sometimes (normally dry shave). Works perfectly, at times when I have skipped a day or two I prefer the wet shave, then go back to dry after that day.

A: It comes with an included bay that contains replaceable alcohol based cleaning solution. They say to replace that every month but unless you have an aggressive beard I think it will last a bit longer than that. It does an excellent job of automatically cleaning the razor. Just know that it does take several hours since it includes a "drying" cycle which is about 4 hours I believe.
