Give your computer a much-needed upgrade with this PNY 8GB DDR3 RAM. It's designed to fit in a compatible notebook or laptop, and the 1600MHz frequency speed ensures data can quickly be transferred to the stick to reduce or even eliminate delays. This PNY 8GB DDR3 RAM is compatible with 1.35-volt motherboard RAM slots.
A: I tried this RAM in a new HP 15-f233wm. Did not work, would not boot up. Current memory stick is a 4gb PC3L 12800s non ecc, non buffer 1.35v. Tried another close type and didn't work either. Now suspicious that HP is becoming like Dell and Samsung and making their products ultra proprietary.
Q: Is this compatible with Dell Inspiron 15 3000 series ?
A: Yes, this memory is compatible with the Dell Inspiron 15 3000.
Q: Dose this work in iMac mid 2011
A: Yes it does. I just purchased for my MacBook Pro from 2011 and it worked well.
A: Yes! I just put two of these 8GB modules (16 GB total) into my late 2013 iMac to increase the total RAM to 24GB. They work perfectly and have really boosted the performance. You may need to rearrange the DIMMs so that they are paired up in slots 1 and 2 and 3 and 4. By default, the stock 4GB modules will be in slots 1 and 3. I had to move one to slot 2, then instill the new 8GB modules in slots 3 and 4.
A: It will work if your laptop has DDR3 memory already installed. Check the Task Manager>Performance>Memory. Listed at the top of Memory is your GB and DDR# The DDR# is designed for the slots to line up. For Example DDR4 will not work with DDR3.
Q: Is this compatible with acer aspire E5 576G?
A: According to the ACER documentation, yes this memory is the correct type for that laptop. The laptop has 2 Memory slots and I believe it came with 8GB, you will have to check if it is (1) 8GB or (2) 4GB modules. If you have one, then an additional 8GB module will do, if you have (2) 4GB you may have to swap out both for new matching set, not 100% sure here. Also the maximum ram is 16GB as per the ACER documentation.
Q: Is this competible with macbook pro mid 2012?
A: Generally in principle yes. You do not need to purchase expensive Apple memory. However you will need to check for each model - the best thing is to go to a reputable memory supply company website which sells certified RAM and look up your model. You can search for them online but here is a respected store (I have no affiliations with) http://www.crucial.com
Q: Hello! Will this work with an all-in-one Toshiba DX735-D3302? Thank you in advance.
A: Yes, this memory is compatible. You will only get 1333mHz speeds out of the ram however because the PC bus is limited.
