A: Yes u can I have the call of duty advance warfare with the 1tb and all I do is download my games and I have over 40 games downloaded and I have um all saved to the 3tb external hdd and my system runs faster and more stable I love it
A: No power switch, but easy to unplug external power plug. I have it on a separate power switched plug that I can easily turn off separately.

Q: Is this a good device to use with a Xbox one ?
A: Yes. I have this product connected to my Xbox One and it works great. Once you connect it the Xbox One walks you through the setup and you're up and running in a matter of minutes. The only pain, but necessary evil is copying your existing games to the hard drive however the USB 3.0 makes it much faster than re-downloading each game. I'd definitely suggest the copy feature.
