A: I had to go outside of BB because they didn't carry the proper mounting bracket. I purchased the Sabrent 2.5" SSD & SATA Hard Drive for inside a Desktop PC; part #: BK-HDDH. In fact I bought three so I would have a couple on-hand. Inexpensive. Just search for it on a couple of the most well-known online resellers.

A: It really depends on the mac book pro you are using. If it is from before the MBP Retina, then you should be fine. The newer MBP with Retina don't use a SATA connection any longer, they are using a proprietary mpcie connector.
