Q: How far from the edge are the stands?
A: The TV itself is 38" wide, the very tips of the feet are about 2 1/2 inches from the edge of the TV, so basically from foot to foot, is 33 inches.
Q: Can you browse the internet from this TV?
A: There is no internet browser downloaded directly on this TV, but if you can hook up your computer/laptop/phone to it and use the TV as a screen.

A: It has 3 HDMI inputs for DVD, videogames, whatever. It advertised the 1 HDMI for sound as in this TV has 1 HDMI input that is ARC (you can see it on the picture of the TV). ARC is Audio Return Chanel. This means if you have a home theater system that HDMI can carry the sound from the TV to your theater system. In this case it would kind of be an "output" instead of an "input" however you can still have that same HDMI input a video signal from the theater system if it plays movies for example.
Q: Can you connect a laptop to this TV?
A: Yes. With a pc you'd need to have a vga cable though, unless it supports hdmi. iPad you'd need a lightning hdmi cable or an Apple TV. And for a tablet it depends on what type it is, but most likely it's compatible too.
