Q: Since the TV is only 60hz is there a concern with motion blur with fast moving scenes?
A: All sources of TV are generally natively 60hz. TV's that feature 120hz or 240hz fake it, meaning they take a 60hz source and then use it's processors to render it in 120hz or 240hz. Frame rate is more important. For instance: your Blu Ray movies are at 24 frames per second, HDTV channels in 720p are generally 60fps, and 1080p channels are generally (but not always) 30fps. you would benefit from a 120hz or 240hz TV most if your input source is running higher than 60fps. A quicker answer is no, you should not be concerned with fast moving scenes in terms of blurriness, artifacting is what you should worry about.
Q: how is the 2015 model different than the 2014?
A: I purchased the 2014 model week before the Super Bowl and the 2015 model in May for another room - I was told there is only an upgraded software. The remote is different and the pointer is different. I really like the 2014 model better. Picture is the same FABULOUS pic!
A: Keep it vertical. Transported mine in the back of my truck. Positioned it diagonally in the bed and put a couple straps over it to hold it in place.
A: Yes it’s happening now. I’ve learned my lesson and I’ll it from target from now on. Best Buy is running a scam where they mishandle the merchandise, and pass the cost onto the customer. I may try to find a law firm who might want to make a little extra money in a class action lawsuit.
