Q: 60 hz seems slow these days. Do live sports appear choppy?
A: I was worried about this too, I went from a 240 hz to this one on the same size screen, but it works better... I know, I know... It doesn't seem possible... But it does! I game some, COD Ghosts seemed to get the worst on my other TV & some sports & news broadcasts & commercials seems to jitter, it drove me crazy. When I bought this TV I was a little nervous about the refresh rate so I kept everything, (box, packaging, ect) in case I had to return it... But it works smooth as butter.
Q: How wide are the feet? What width surface does this need?
A: 30 inches.
Q: How does a Smart HDTV Roku Tv work?
A: Your entire interface is Roku based...in other words, when you turn on the TV...your top row is (in my case) the cable box and DVD player. Below that are all other Roku Chanel's. If you have a Smart Phone...Roku has an app for your remote control...which works over your homes wireless router (presuming you have one), whereas the supplied remote works IR or line of site. Since this TV is a brand new LG model...the Roku software will look different from older models of Roku. Hope this has been helpful.
Q: Operate ROKU without smartphone or Tablet?
A: It comes with it own remote to operate Roku
Q: Does this tv work with directv ?
A: You must use input to switch or roku tv or your directv
A: When people talk about the screen size on a TV, they are referring to the diagonal measurement of the screen (i.e. the viewing area) On the LG 55" Class (54.6" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - Smart - HDTV Roku TV, Model # 55LF5700, the actual measurement of the screen measured diagonally is 54.6". That measurement does not include the bezels. The measurement will vary from one manufacturer to the next depending on how thick the bezel is on the TV...^IFV
Q: Is the Roku built into the tv itself or is it a Roku stick that connects to the back of the tv?
A: The Roku is built into the TV itself.
Q: Can I use my Chromecast on this TV?
A: No you can't remove the Roku, but you don't need too. I have a chromecast on mine & it works flawlessly. Hook up all devices to the TV, ( chromecast, xbox, dvr,soundbar,dish/cable box) whatever you have. power them on. Turn on the TV it will guide you through the set up. Takes 2 mins. With your Roku remote turn on TV select chromecast, cast & watch.. It really is easy. I promise
