Q: Need to know if this laptop's OS IS WIN. 7 or 10

A: In spite of the packing box being labeled as only Win10, it came with Win7 professional preinstalled, along with the recovery disks for win7. It also came with disks to upgrade to win10 if you would desire to at anytime. You will maybe/probably also want to delete the preinstalled but totally empty "D' partition to allow you to expand the 'C' partition from 200 GB to 400 GB.

A: This laptop is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

Q: Will I be able to install an SSD in this model?

A: Unfortunately, there is no (easy) access to get at the hard drive to replace it - i.e. you cannot just remove a couple of screws and a plate. The same is true for its RAM.
