Q: Any insurance for buying it no contract?
A: When i got mine, even though im contracted with at&t, i purchased the geek squad protection plan, simply because its easier to deal with best buy rather than asurion.
A: totally agree however with phone prices being what they are nowadays, it would be a little costly for a family as opposed to just buying one. the thing i dont get is that at&t offers buy one get one free for transferring or new customers but they dont show any love for people who have been with them for the last 8 years.....loyalty is a one way street i guess!

Q: Is the battery for the Samsung Galaxy S7 interchangeable?
A: No the only items which can be removed/upgraded is the SIM card and the MicroSD card, Battery is not replaceable by the user. Its a unibody/one piece design.

A: If the device is paid in full, yes, or you can buy the unlocked version.
Q: isn't there a potential battery problem with this phone----I thought there was a mfgr. recall
A: Greetings, Eddieg. Thank you for reaching out with your concern. The device that had a manufacture recall was the Galaxy Note 7, not the S7. As such this device is just fine with none of the battery problems that persisted in the Note 7. I hope this helps with your question. ^Viv
Q: do you keep the phone forever when you buy it?
A: Yes, my last phone was the GS4 and I road it into the ground. I opted for the GS7 instead of the GS8 because it was a better value and the technology will last. I hate Apple and all the hype associated with it as well as the "must have the newest, blah, blah, blah". I phone, text, use Google maps, view email and social media, take pics and maintain my contacts. I'm a simple guy with a good phone that will be run into the ground, again. I have a life and my cell phone is a passenger, not the driver.
