Q: Is this microwave self venting or does it have to be vented to the outside?
A: Both, it is set up to vent into the home but it came with the stuff to change it over to exterior venting if needed.
Q: Food codes? The manual says on door but its not! Help!
A: When you open the door, my food codes are right on the bottom edge. I would send a pic but it won't let me. Hit 8 then hit your oz then start and it does it's thing. I hope this helps.

A: No extra hardware was needed. Took about 30 mins. to install over the range.
Q: Can this model instead be installed under a cabinet?
A: I would think that it would be able to be installed uner a cabinet I would have to see a picture . this microwave is very versatile i use mine as a countertop and I love it.When I asked several sales people at various stores could it be used a a countertop they said no ,well i brought it anyway and I am so glad that I did because it can be used as a countertop and i bet it can be used under a cabinet as well
