A: Yes, say so right on the box. And it works on my Mac. It might need to be running a 10.0 OS or later.
Q: can i use this to store movies on?
A: As long as you have a hardware program that converts from DVD to a video file. Otherwise videos in such format as MP4 can be stored on the drive the same as audio files such as MP3, Wave, etc.
A: You should be able to use File Explorer or navigate through My Computer to locate the external drive, then just drag and drop the files that you want to the folder that you would like.
