Q: Can i plug an ac adapter in it instead of using batteries for all day use?
A: Yes. It comes with an AC adaptor, so you can use it either way.However, I wouldn't leave it plugged in ALL the time, because I'm guessing over the long run, it would hurt the battery life ( similar to leaving a laptop continuously plugged in). Either way, it does work while plugged into the adaptor as well as on its battery power.
Q: is there a remote that will adjust the volume with out having to touch the speaker
A: There is no remote, but set the volume on the speaker unit itself and you can then control it from the sending unit - ex. IPad, desktop ect.
Q: Can i connect this in my desktop
A: Yes you can. Has input jack located on the back of the unit.
A: No way to do that on the speaker...You'll need to do this on your device, set notifications to Vibrate or silent, then they won't be played and interrupt your groove.
Q: Is there a car charger for this speaker?
A: You can buy the regular car charger that comes with USB connection ND you can charger your speaker with it :-)
Q: Can you puse an IPOD or IPAD plug into this Sony speaker too?
A: This product is compatible with IPOD or IPAD through bluetooth.
