- Answer Yes, the receiver has pre-wired plug-ins, total of 6...don't forget the sub-woofer.

QuestionHearing surround sound through gaming systemThis receiver has one HDMI port that will connect to my TV. I am also going to connect a PlayStation 4 to my TV as well. If I muted my tv, turn on the receiver and turn my Playstation on, will I be able to listen to the sound through this surround sound or will it only play through the tv speakers?

QuestionAudio lag fixable?Hi I purchased this with the KDL60R510A model TV and after hooking up the Digital Optical cable to the TV I'm noticing roughly about half a second of audio lag (I'll shoot in a game and half a second later I'll hear the fire or even a persons lips moving on the cable program then sound half a second later) I feel like I'm constantly watching old Godzilla movies. Any way to fix this?

- Answer there is a a/v sync setting to correct this, it is in the U.S. manual on page 37. Not too hard to do but to hard to explain here. Go into "options" it will come up on your tv screen and look for A/V sync. you can adjust the sound delay there.

Questioncan this system be use to record tv programmeshi please forgive my ignorance on this subject,but im looking for a dvd recorder can i do this with this equipment,at the moment i have just a straight dvd recorder and want another one but also like the idea of a home cinema experience can this be used for recording? thanks graham

- Answer I hooked up my Sony smart TV with no issues... I am not sure what TV you have but if you are having difficulties I suggest you use Youtube as they millions of tutorials on the subject... Hope this helps.

- Answer Yes. when you set up the system via blu-ray it will ask if you have wired or Wi-fi just choose the wifi choice and take it from there.

- Answer The BDVE3100 includes 2 front speakers, 2 Surround speakers, 1 Center speaker and 1 subwoofer. When using the BD/DVD function of the system (meaning when playing BD or DVD discs), it is able to support 5.1 surround, if the disc being played has that audio format. A list of supported audio formats can be found on page 63 of the Operating Instructions Manual (link provided below). http://www.docs.sony.com/release/BDVE6100_E4100_E3100_E2100.pdf

QuestionHow long is the speaker wire? I have to run the wire around the entire living room. With my current set up the wires to the left rear speaker just barely reach and I have an average size living room.

- Answer My system is hooked up - so i couldn't tell you the exact measurements. The speakers with the longest wires are the left and right surround satellites. If i had to guess, I would say they are somewhere around 24-30 feet? As for the other speakers, they are about half the length or less - when considering the length of the center speaker as it doesn't need to be long at all.
