Q: Does this headset's microphone retract back into the headset?
A: Yes it retracts fully into the left side speaker.
A: It's made for pc. Xbox on the other hand, from what I've heard it doesn't work very well so you should buy the ones made for Xbox one.
Q: Can these be used with a tablet?
A: Yes, you can use these headphones with a tablet. These headphones have 2 jacks (sound and mic), and a splitter. If you are familiar with the headphones that come with the iPhone, you will note that the headphones only have 1 jack, but allow sound and mic capability. You can use the splitter, which is included with the Kraken Razer Pros, to combine the 2 jacks into 1 jack and have sound and mic capability. You can then use this 1 jack on your tablet and take advantage any apps where a mic is used (i.e. Skype).
