Better than the alternative

This was a Christmas gift for my 6 year old son. He absolutely loves it. I say it's better than the alternative which would either be a POWER WHEEL quad with plastic tires and a battery that needs charged for about the same price, or a real 50cc quad that runs on gas and goes for around $2000. Any of which he is going to grow out of in about 2 years so for less than 400 bucks I'd say it's probably worth it. We just have to see how many charges the battery will take.
