Q: does it drain well? does it have a plug? (so i may connect a hose to move water away from wall)
A: no it dont have a plug but it is a good AC runs good and it is quiet. It is a good buy
Q: Does it make a lot of noise?
A: It was not silent ,only noises on high. I leave it on high for a few hours then switch to medium

A: The remote is not back lit. You would need other source of light to read in the dark. As an aside, I like this a,c. It has cooled well during recent heat waves.
Q: How easy or hard is it to clean the front and filter?
A: Very easy. Use attachment on vacuum.
