I purchased 2 apple keyboards this past July for me and my brother. They work and function great as expected. This keyboard is great for my MacBook Pro 15.4” (Mid 2014) to do my professional work in CGI, Graphic Design & other apps to use special hot keys to work in these applications better!

I was looking for a replacement keyboard for use with my Mac. The keyboard I had prior was the one that shipped with my G4 tower. I liked that keyboards responsiveness and feel of keys. I actually was looking for somewhere that still had inventory on that model, but could not find any. I was skeptical about changing to the new style of "flat" keys, but I have found them extremely comfortable. I also like the devoted keys for iTunes control (F9 - F12), Mission Control (F3) and Launch Pad (F4). If I had to purchase another keyboard today, I would purchase this one again.

Reminds me of typing on my MacBook Pro unlike the older Bluetooth keyboard I had that had those deep steep angled keys like windows computers. Also comes with a USB extension cord I like to use for my iPhone when it's plugged into the wall with the short cord that's with the phone.

I use my keyboard for photography and I use skins for certain software that I use and this one is what I needed for the skins. I could use the space which the Apple wireless keyboard offers, especially since I use the track pad also but I did need a full keyboard and also I can never be without enough USB connections. This keyboard offers 2 additional USB connectors. I am using all the connections behind my mac and I have a USB 3.0 hub but sometimes getting to the keyboard connectors is faster and easier. Price wise, it's also less expensive but most definitely not less of a keyboard.

There are less expensive options but if you want the original feel & look, this is the way to go.

Our old apple keyboard was well used and a number of the 10Key was not functioning. We had had the keyboard for years. We wanted a keyboard with the 10Key feature again. When we got our new keyboard hooked up, it was a very pleasant experience to type on the brand new fresh keys. We love this new keyboard, it is worth every penny that we paid for it. I love this Apple keyboard.

The keyboard is easy to use. Every key works good with a light touch. It offers extra USB ports on the sides. Plus it has a numbers pad. Sleek look on your desktop.

The Apple usb keyboard is great!!! Apples Usb Keyboard is perfect for people who will be doing lots of data or number entry, or math homework, lol. This is also better for people who will being typing papers or documents frequently. Apple's bluetooth keyboard (as opposed to this usb keyboard) does not have a number pad, and is also significantly more cramped than this keyboard, which is why this is a better choice for work or even gaming... Plus a usb attachment is much more reliable than its bluetooth competitor. Another plus side is that you will never go to start typing a paper or do your homework, only to remember your Apple bluetooth keyboards batteries died the night before. This has happened to me before.... If you are left handed you may want to go for the Bluetooth keyboard, because the Num pad is obviously useless.... Also, if you plan to use a long usb extender, you may just want to buy the wireless apple keyboard. I have had issue with this keyboard loosing power using a 3 or 4 foot usb extension. (another thing is if you are a neat freak you want to buy a keyboard cover, the white keys of this keyboard get really gross fast!!!) The bottom line is if you don't mind the usb cord and want to save a little cash, buy this keyboard. If you want the ease of wireless, don't plan to enter a lot of numbers, or write lengthy papers and the extra cash isn't an issue. Go for the Bluetooth Apple Keyboard!!!

I use this for my office set up. It's works great because it has 2 additional USB's. 1 on each side of the keyboard. As you probably know, Mac Airs only have 2 USB's. You have to use 1 for the keyboard which means you have 3 total available. It's also much bigger (normal size) that the wireless ones. Plus it has the numeric keypad.

I am very happy with the purchase of this Apple keyboard. It is very easy to use and feels really good to the touch. They keys are easy to press and the keyboard also has a very nice appearance. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Wonderful full size keyboard. Apple quality. Bought it to replace "little" keyboard that I was using in my Mac book office desk setup. The mini-keyboard is wireless and the full size extended keyboard is USB wired. Other than the tethered requirement, works great. Can't figure the logic behind only the mini keyboard being wire free

Compatible to my macbook and convenience to use that has all features that works well with functions that are needed to make job easier with using the laptop. Do recommend this.

Got this keyboard because the one that came with computer didn't have a number pad on the side, which I'm used to and use a lot. Also it had two extra USB ports which was a plus. It has a lot of useful features that others don't have. It has a very soft touch and is very clean looking and not bulky but not too small to use comfortably.

This was an emergency replacement for an Apple keyboard that had problems with some keys, right when I was scheduled for a part-time online job. I'd had the old one for 3 yrs. and purchased the same one because it's attractive, takes less space than some other models, and works like a charm. I'm very happy that Best Buy carries Apple products, saving a trip to a very congested area where the local Apple store is located and waiting for an online purchase to arrive. Thanks!

I like this much more than the standard keyboard that came with my iMac. Not only do I like the Numeric Keypad, as I mostly use it when working on spreadsheets, but the overall feel of the typing experience is better. The USB ports on either side of the Keyboard is an even bigger bonus!! The fact that it is not wireless does not make much of a difference, as you will be typing infant of your computer, not half way across the room.

This was my first replacement keyboard in years having always used the plastic version, which served me well over the years. Had a spill and it went kaput, so on to a replacement. 50 bucks for a USB keyboard was a bit hard to swallow but in the end, it's svelte, thin and comfortable and a much better design. Over time, the old plastic ones tend to accumulate dirt, junk and gunk in its crevices, so this redesign is much welcome.

I had one of these for about three and half years until I spilled some liquid on it. It died. I bought a new one because I couldn't live without one. These keyboards are great, they are crisp and accurate. I think the number pad is very important and the wireless keyboard without it, is nowhere good as this one. I also love that it has 2 USB ports on the side, makes connecting some small odd things very easy.

I am a huge fan of Apple products. They last quite a long time and hardly have any problems. The keyboard has a clean surface and super easy to type on. If there is dirt, etc. on it, very easy to clean with rubbing alcohol (not directly on it of course - moist towel or something). I would get the wireless one but they don't have the keypad on there so that's why I still buy this model.

I purchased this wired keyboard for two reasons. First, is integrates seamlessly with my Mac Mini, and second, the key response is excellent. Other wired and wireless keyboards have larger keys which seem clunkier to me. These keys have a low profile in relation to the case, allowing for "sensitive" keystrokes. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a USB-based Apple keyboard.
