Love my Dyson I order one when I have to change the filter. That way i always keep a spare filter on hand. Easy to change.

Genuine makes a difference! This filter lasted a year where the knock offs only last a few months if that!

While it isn’t cheap, you only have to change this filter somewhere between 6 and 12 months, not every 3 like some machines do. I got a blue Dyson heater/fan/air purifier that dehumidifies the home last year on Black Friday due to living in Washington where there are wildfires so bad that in 2020 we had not only a pandemic but also smoke that was toxic in my town and we had to seal our doors and windows and stay inside. With my allergies and asthma, I decided to not use my cheaper machine and go for the best. I am glad I did, even though luckily we didn’t have wildfire toxic smoke this summer. This is due to having 77% humidity and 115 degrees instead. The fan dehumidified my apartment so well, that along with sun blocking curtains in just my living room I didn’t die even without owning an air conditioner. In fact my apartment was cooler than my friend’s house with one small AC unit and the “cooling center” at the library! It is obvious this filter however cleans the air fast. I had been running it with this dirty one up to today, and my asthma was getting very bad again. I just now installed the replacement filter and I am feeling so much better already. It cannot be my imagination, because I had the same experience with the original filter too. Not having sinus pain, not as much drainage at night, and even skipping some days my allergy pills or inhaler because I can breathe normally is worth every cent. I only wish everyone could have a living wage job and afford to purchase their own Dyson products and the legitimate replacement filters. Nobody should die from wildfire smoke, or high humidity on hot days. If you have a person in your family who cannot afford one, please consider buying one as a Christmas gift on Black Friday this year. You could save their life.

Excellent. In my picture you can see on the right what my old (1 year) one looks like. I like buying genuine and name brand instead of the 3rd party ones.

This filter lasted a year whereas the cheaper knock offs don't. It cleans the air well, especially when there was the orange smog from the Canadian wildfires last summer (2023) filled the city. I could breathe easier.

This is the official Dyson filter. Super straight forward to take out the old one, put in the new, and the Dyson air filter fan recognized it right away. Zero issues. Unfortunately these are a bit expensive but we knew that when buying a Dyson to begin with.

The Dyson air filters are truly remarkable in their performance and longevity. While some may argue that the Dyson made filters are expensive, they work really well and dont cause any problems. I have used several knock-off/third party filters but i found myself going through filters faster with them or they simply dont work. In the end, the money spent on filters was either the same, if not more, for using a non-Dyson brand. Trust the makers and know you are getting quality products.

At times like the wildfires in the west coast and smoke was in the air for well over a week and making the air quality levels hazardous and very unhealthy, I was glad I had my Dyson Hot + Cold Fan and Air Purifier. It helped cleaned the air inside my home and let me know the air quality level inside as well as comparing it to outside and what a vast difference it made! Though my filter held out and still had a lotta life left even after the smoke cleared, got this filter as a backup and it's so easy to change out! Love my Dyson!

Love that I do not need to replace these filters on my Dyson hot + cold too often only once a year. I am also able to replace it with ease and love clean air quality I get with replacing the filter on my Dyson. Would definitely recommend to keep your appliance running good and in good shape!

Great air filter and cleans the air very well!! Easy to install and last 1 year

I prefer to use the Dyson genuine air purifier replacement filter. I have allergies and I don't want to take a chance using a generic brand that may not work as well. The filter is expensive, but I can rest assured that the filter is working properly.

Waaaaaaay to expensive, but it works better than other air filters. We buy name brand….because it seems safer than buying generic for something like this. Something you’re breathing In constantly. Need to be $25 each instead. Sometimes it ends up being a birthday gift or Christmas gift because of the extremely high cost. Does work tho.

When I was living in Hawaii I had to replace by Dyson Air Hot/Cool Aur purifier and didn’t want to pay shipping from Dyson and was k July to find Best Buy carried a couple so I bought like three of them. Each air filter lasts almost a year for me. Glad to know Best Buy carries Authentic Dyson brand/products at their stores

As a rule of thumb, the filter in your Dyson fan should be changed annually (manufacturer's guidance). We have a dog, get pollen in the summer, and have ours running most days. The filter does exactly what it should and clearly has the design precision that Dyson prides itself on. Easy to install/replace. Price is generally high in my opinion and we stocked up when it went on sale for the first time in a year.

I didn't think there would be much of a difference if I changed the filter, thought it was a big trick from Dyson. Buuuuuut, I was wrong, my old filter was gross from all the bad air from the fires. This new air filter makes the world of difference. Easy install and glad it's making my air cleaner!
