So far the unit has performed as advertised, preheating is fast and roasting with the probe functioning properly. To make proper toast, one needs to move the tray up and down, the crumb tray is also very close to the heating element making cleaning a big inconvenience. Still a good toaster oven overall.

The best part of this product is that it cooks food faster and more evenly than previous toaster ovens I have had. My only issue with it is that food always gets stuck to the baking pan and requires extra cleaning. It should have been made of a better nonstick material.

This is a very nice little toaster oven. Cooks like my large oven, very evenly. My old toaster oven either under cooked or over cooked everything. Does a very nice baking as well as toasting bread. Also easy to clean, drip pan in the bottom comes out for quick wipe or washing. Turned out to be a very good purchase!

Overall it is a great toaster oven. I love it. It does all I want. The only minor issue, probably just for me, is the push buttons. Since I don't place the oven against the wall, when I push the buttons at the front of the oven, there is no support from the back, and I push the entire oven along all the way. I have to hold on to it in order to press any keys. However, if it is placed against the wall, this is not a problem for most users.

This was recommended by America's Test Kitchen and so far they have been right on the mark. It makes perfect toast and english muffins, quick work on potatoes and even a good grilled cheese sandwich. I haven't tried a roast chicken but they say it'll do it! And being small it heats up quickly and uses a lot less electricity for small items.

Great little oven, very useful for toasting and cooking small quantities of food. One thing that really bothered me was the fact that it doesn't come with an oven rack. As stated in it's description of what's included, it comes with a bake pan and broil rack but it doesn't come with a oven rack to put it on! In other words, to use it you would have to set the bake pan and/or broil rack directly on top of the heating element - which no one would obviously do. Or maybe someone would and the thing would catch on fire. The oven rack is pictured on front of the box and so is the power cord and the front door! So, for an oven that costs $100 to begin with, you would think Hamilton Beach would throw in the oven rack for "free". Instead you have to wait another week or two to use your oven while you wait for them to ship you a $10 oven rack. Ridiculous.
