Q: What is the best way to connect to TV- OPTICAL or HDMI?
A: FOR BRODY. REMOVE THE OPTIC PLASTIC PROTECTIVE COVER AND THE CORD WILL SNAP IN VERY EASY. THERE IS NO INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS. I FOUND OUT LIKE YOU.
Q: Does the soundbarsystem come complete with connection wires, etc.? I know there is no remote.
A: The sound bar does have a nice remote. However, it does not operate the sub-woofer independently of the sound bar. The remote controls the sound bar, and the sub-woofer responds indirectly to the volume controls of the sound bar--like a wagon hitched to a horse.
A: The best connection is via the optical audio cable that comes with the product. If you Panasonic has an optical out socket it will work just fine.
Q: Does this automatically turn on and off with the TV?
A: Yes IF you have a Samsung Smart TV. You can use your TV remote to power on your TV and the sound bar+subwoofer automatically turns on as well. It also works when you turn your TV off as well. You honestly don't even need to use the remote it came with unless you want to switch through the different setting modes.
A: Yes. It easily connects to phone, iPad, etc. haven't had any connections issues at all.

Q: How does this sound bar sound? Read some reviews it doesn't sound good.
A: I like to consider myself an audiophile.. after using this system for more than 4 months im incredibly pleased with the sound!
A: I could only be a few feet away before the subwoofer interfered with the Bluetooth connection and audio started skipping. Samsung phone support told me to put device within 2 feet. I tried 2 separate units (2016 model) and returned both.
