Q: Top ice maker bucket won't slide back in
A: I found the answer elsewhere online as it seems to be another common problem with this piece of garbage. The ice-maker was completely cleaned of everything including ice/frost. There's a white piece of plastic with 2 screws towards the top of the unit. Remove the 2 screws and plastic. Slide back in. Didn't think I could hate this piece of junk anymore than I did while defrosting it and listening to it continually beep in defrost mode -- then it came time to slide that sucker back in. I want the hours of my life back.
Q: Snapping-Popping noise when pulling out freezer drawer
A: There is a spring loaded latch on the side of the freezer drawer. when the drawer is pulled out the spring is compressed, it is so when the drawer is closed the spring latch keeps the drawer closed tight. the latch does not stay engaged and the poping sound you hear is the spring popping the latch.
A: Yes, I use the stainless braided supply line, I won't use anything else. Let's just say it is a lot safer. In fact when our old fridge died we just unscrewed the supply line from that one, had our new Samsung installed and the installer hooked the stainless line right up to our new fridge no problems
A: After plugging in the RF323, it will take several hours for it to cool, and as much as 24 hours for the refrigerator and freezer to cool completely. This depends on several factors, including the starting and set temperatures and the temperature of food placed in side. If, for example, the food you're storing is colder than the set temperature to start with, this may help to speed up the cooling process; if the items are warmer, this can cause it to take longer to cool. Since some foods should not be stored below certain temperatures, it's a good idea to wait until the refrigerator is sufficiently cool to store these items. Similarly, frozen items should not be placed in the freezer until it's cold enough to prevent them from thawing. For more information on getting started with your new refrigerator, please refer to page 11 of the user manual. Thank you for choosing Samsung! Ms. Samsung
Q: 31.6 Cu Ft French Door Ice Maker
A: Yes you can do that on the door control panel. It tells you in the instructions how to turn off the ice makers if you are going on a vacation or someting.
Q: RFG297HDRS versus RF323TEDBSR
A: Thanks for your interest. Besides the larger capacity of the RF323TEDBSR compared to the RFG297HDRS (32 cu. ft. vs. 29 cu. ft., respectively), the RF323TEDBSR also features new HE LED lighting, which is even more efficient than the LED lighting in the RFG297HDRS; the new Ice Master icemaker which takes up less space in the fridge but produces even more ice; and a second icemaker in the freezer compartment. Total estimated ice production for the larger Dual Ice model is nearly 12 pounds per day, which is almost double that of the RFG297HDRS at about 6-1/2 pounds. It's worth noting that, while the height and width of the two models are the same, the RF323TEDBSR has a case depth of 30-7/8" vs. 29-1/4" for the RFG297HDRS. - Ms. Samsung
A: Thanks for the question. Turning off the water supply line to replace the filter is not a requirement, but doing so may help to alleviate pressure in the lines if you find it difficult to remove the old cartridge or insert a new one. - Ms. Samsung
Q: Does the Samsung RF323TEDBSR have dual icemakers
A: yes it does. We love it.
