Q: What is the dimensions of box for the tv?
A: The box for the TV measures 57.6" x 32.2" x 8.9".
Q: Does this tv have to have a soundbar
A: No the sound is surprisingly very good through the speakers. I have a couple of other Samsung tv's that I do use a sound bar on but this one is fine without. Very happy with the whole set. Hope that helps.
A: Making room for there more recent models. Nothing wrong with the set in particular. Same support as there older curved sets as well as there new ones. My recommendation would be to have TV connected to Internet for best support. Samsung can connect directly to set (with your permission) and walk you through any problems you might be facing.
A: The televisions on displays in stores (including other stores) have their video signals go through a device that doubles the resolution. That is why the picture is not the same quality. There are settings to improve the picture. On the remote, hit the HOME button then scroll to the left to "SETTINGS" then push the ENTER button (center button on remote). When you do this it brings you to a screen that will say "PICTURE" scroll to the right and highlight "EXPERT SETTINGS" and here you can fine tune the picture.
A: The stand is not adjustable. The bottom of the tv is at about 2 7/8" and the screen is just under 3 1/2". The stand does come out front a few inches so your sound bar would be in front of that but should not block any portion of the screen at 3".
