Q: Isn't this one of the models being recalled?
A: The washer was on the recall list, mine was promptly replaced with the new washer with "the fix" by Best Buy when Samsung got the problem fixed. There are currently no more of the washers with the problem the recall was for being sold-all that stock was recalled and replaced. Same washer, other than addressing that problem.
Q: What are the dimensions of this dryer?
A: The dryer is 44.25 inches high, 27 inches wide and 29.31 inches deep.
A: The newer models apparently have been remedied. However, I do not recommend this machine or the brand. We bought this from Best Buy last year August and it has been out of order for almost a month now. Samsung has been giving us the run around with repairs and not replacing the machine or giving us a refund. We are still waiting for the repairman to come by for the 4th time to see what else he can do.
A: You should be able to purchase one without the other. That is the sales person trying to make a sale. You can always call customer service or try and go to another store
Q: What is the depth of the activewash tub?
A: It is rather deep. I am 5' 1" and I use a stool to retrieve some items out of the washer. If you are not flexible enough to use a stool and hang over the edge, I would not recommend buying this type of machine.
