Q: Didn't Verizon rid of phone contracts?
A: Good news for existing Verizon customers: You’ll still be able to get discounted phones for $100 or $200 by renewing a two-year service contract. Verizon clarified its policy in an email on Tuesday. As long as you stay with the current plan, you can upgrade at a discount. So if you were anticipating a new model from Apple or Samsung, you can wait until those phones come out.
A: No
A: My signal is great anywhere i go even rural areas.
Q: How does the Samsung Galaxy Note5 compare to an iphone?
A: Size and feel are similar to the iPhone 6 plus. I've had both. I LOVED both! You absolutely cannot go wrong either way. I happen to lean more towards the android because of the freedom to customize with ring tones and widgets. The s pen is so much fun! I'm writing with it right now. Both devices have a premium feel and both have amazing displays. The speaker sounds better on the Note 5, but the camera and video are a little better on the iPhone 6 plus. Either choice is the right one!
Q: How much will it cost if I am already a Verizon subscriber
A: I went for an upgrade 2 weeks ago. They are doing away with contracts, so what they are doing now is having us pay full price for the phone. Since nobody would pay $700 up front for a phone, they allow payments added to your bill. The bill is $20 less without being on a contract for whatever reason, and the phone adds $30. So my bill is $10 more a month. Up front, I had to pay taxes which was $70, but best buy gave a $250 gift card. I'm throwing a lot of numbers at you, so in summary : Payed nothing the day i bought the phone, walked away with $140 gift card (after taxes and a nice case), and my bill is $10 more a month. When the phone is payed off, bill will be $20 cheaper than it was before. Sorry for the novel.
A: I got that deal on August 26th but the store told me it was till September 26th which is tomorrow but I believe it only goes till then in stores not online so go check it out in store by tomorrow
A: No, the contract locks you in for two years to a phone plan. There is a $40 upgrade fee but no monthly payment for the device.
Q: does unactived phone means it's unlocked?
A: No, unactivated simply means that there is no plan/contract on the phone, as in you didn't buy the phone and put a number on it. Unlocked means that it can be used on different carriers. So instead of buying a Verizon Note5 or a Sprint Note5, it would simply be a Note5 that you can put on whichever carrier you'd like. Hope that makes sense!
