30" Trim Kit for Sharp R930CS Microwave - Stainless Steel

Q: Looking to replace a built in that I have in a Microwave cabinet. The cutout dimensions are 17 1/4 H by 25" wide, though the outside dimesions of the cabinet is 20" H by 30" W, so there is more interior space. Please advise

Q: we are renovating and have a space reserved for a microwave. The cabinet opening is 27 x 16.5 The door on the upper cabinet is very close to the cabinet opening. There is 1.5 inches from the bottom of the cutout to the lower cabinet door. Thoughts?

Q: My cabinet opening is 25 1/2 wide, by 20 3/4' high. the r-930cs seems to work, however I want to use the trim kit for this unit without major work to the cabinet. will I have the correct clearance for the unit? This will be a built in NOT a counter top

A: Hello HappyHeart, I looked into the trim kits for this unit, and it appears that with the dimensions you provided, the trim kit RK-93S27 should fit. However, we would need to check the depth, as the trim kit requires at least 19 1/2', and we ask that at least another inch to an inch and a half be available for proper ventilation.
