Such a strange and wonderful film. Maybe more relevant today than it was in 1972. The transfer is really good for a fifty year old film. I assume the features are the same as before but, I watched them all and they really give you a good feel for the movie. Especially the literal impact that the landmark movie "Freaks" had on Trumball and this film. As with all Arrow releases you can flip the cover to the original 1972 imagery, though this is a pretty good updated version. Nice touches like this abound with this release. Well worth the price.

A wonderful blu-ray of a very distinctive 70's sci-fi movie. Beautifully crafted with a fantastic performance by Bruce Dern. Best transfer of this movie you will find anywhere. Throw out your old blurays and DVDs. this is the one to own., Has some nice special features too. Also worth noting... the film is often referenced for its environmental themes and if you are into that sort of thing its there, but if you are not dont let it scare you away, What the main character does in the name of what he believes in is clearly observed in a critical way. And that is what makes the story more interesting than just another "save the environment" movie. See it for the tone, feel, and for the love of sci-fi.

I purchased this one because it's an oldie but goody that I could finally get on bluray. It is a unique and (at least for me) memorable 1970's sci-fi film. It isn't high budget but it is enjoyable. If you're looking for laser shoot-em up space adventure this isn't it. It has an interesting message and begs the question what would you do if you were in the main characters place. It comes across a little hokey at times but I think that's part of it's charm.
