I have always loved Simple mobile. You get the same bad service as Tmobile but with no roaming charges and WAY less money. And that what counts for me. I would never change from simple mobile I love the point that I can just buy a new phone and keep going. No credit check on long waits...Simply perfect

I hope that my experience may help others who are considering using Simple Mobile. Obviously the SIM card is just one part of the process and does function as it's intended. Spending three months on Simple Mobile service left a bad taste in my mouth as, I'm sure, it has for others as well. Understand, first of all, you are only buying the SIM by itself and the service is an additional charge. While this fact is not hidden nor unexpected, I figured I would mention it anyway as this is still a review of the SIM card technically. Once you sign up for service with SM, you will learn that unless you purchase the reup cards, you will be charged the very same wireless taxes and fees that you would see on a normal carrier bill. Also, if you use more than 2 GB of data, Simple Mobile WILL send you a text message informing you that your account is in danger of being suspended; not to mention they WILL also throttle your data speed on the account to 2G speeds. All of this is accompanied by a loose guarantee that your service will be restored to normal once your billing cycle is renewed. For the record, I didn't stick with them to find out whether or not this was true or, rather, an empty promise. Furthermore, for those still considering Simple Mobile, as long as you only talk and text, you shouldn't have issues with their service. If you like to use data for any sort of radio/Netflix/ultraviolet streaming, you will be sorely disappointed. And to bring this around to close, my SIM card did work, even though I had to cut it to fit for a microSIM slot.

For being a prepaid service, Simple is pretty good. Some reviewers here are complaining about number porting issues; what they don't understand is that the majority of porting issues are caused by your previous carrier, not Simple Mobile. When you port over a number, your new carrier simply puts in a request. It's out of their hands at the point, and the rest depends on your previous carrier releasing your number. Blame them for the issues, not Simple.
I've used Simple for two months now, coming over from T-Mobile. They piggyback on T-Mobile's network, so you get their coverage and speed which is good for not being LTE; HSPA+21 and 42 is pretty good. I've had no problems with data caps, averaging about 3GB per month including typical apps (Facebook, Twitter, USA Today, Google Maps), short videos (YouTube), and an occasional episode of Supernatural on Netflix.
The lack of online setup is a little annoying, but the rep I spoke with was speedy and clear. I wish they'd let you use apps like Google Voice because it's awesome and convenient, but I can live with a proprietary voicemail service.
Bottom line, I'm now paying $50 a month for the same service I used to pay T-Mobile $75 for, and even better in some aspects. And because I am not under contract with Simple Mobile, I can leave them whenever I want if their service starts becoming subpar.

Ok the simple mobile service is great.
Get very good coverage, Internet is fast, and calls don't drop. Yay!!
But the customer service at simple mobile is non existent.
When you do get somebody on the line, it's somebody in India (no shocker there), and 80% of the time, they just repeat back what you told them. Caught in an infinite loop on trying to get some issues resolved.
Their website is flawed and has glitches when you create your account for the 1st time.
I would put in the extra $10 a month and pick up T-Mobiles unlimited all plan starting at $50.
You'll get American support with people who speak English. Isn't this how thing are supposed to be?
Just my 2cents.

There were a lot of the cards in stock. But they are not easy to be found. Most stores do no carry these simple Mobil cards. I am happy that best buy always carry them. It is cheaper buying from best buy if you have some reward cards to use.
