Goodbye cable bill, Hello FREE TV!
Posted by: BigTex34 from: Austin, Tx on
I LOVE this product! The setup was simple and fast. I have had enough with my cable company. Besides the terrible customer service, my monthly bill was over $180. A friend of mine told me how great digital antennas are, and they were right. The picture on my TV with the Terk ultra thin antenna was unbelievable, much better than the picture from cable. I was able to pick up about 35 channels, and included in that are all the main channels my family watches; ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX to name a few. Another feature I love about this antenna is how it is paintable. I placed it next to my TV and painted it the same color as my living room wall. It is so thin that it took my wife three days before she even noticed I had put the antenna up. If you want a Hi-Def picture and don't want to pay outrageous prices to your cable or satellite provider anymore, the ultra thin digital Terk antenna is the way to go. I am literally telling everyone I know about how awesome this digital antenna is!

Great reception in downtown Chicago
Posted by: Rick from: Chicago, IL on
Hooked it up to the TV, hung it on the wall and approx 53 HD channels appeared. It's outstanding how clear the reception is in downtown Chicago. One time fee to purchase the antenna and NO CABLE BILLS.

Perfect reception, reasonable price

I went to BestBuy in search of a Mohu Leaf 30, but they weren't stocking them. Recognizing the Terk brand as reputable, I opted for this product. I cannot speak to a comparison of the two products, but I can say that I have zero buyer's remorse for purchasing this product. Crystal clear HD on 47 channels! I am so glad to have cut the cable!

This is a great antenna....Period
Posted by: iPhoneGuy from: Detroit, Mi on
I ended up buying this antenna after initially purchasing the Mohu Leaf antenna. The poor reception of the Mohu antenna left a sour taste in my mouth but I decided to give the Terk a try after a recommendation by the associate at Best Buy. He was right, it worked so flawlessly that I bought another one for the den.

I don't mean to be critical but the 2stars are directly related to the performance of this product. I was under whelmed by the units ability to pull in channels in my area which was only 13 out of the 30 that are available. I returned this item and purchased the Mohu Leaf 30 and that was able to pull in 26 of the channels. For the money, this product under performed.

Heard about this product from Kim Kommando on her radio show. It has lived up to expectation and hype. Works great when using 3M removable tabs(provided) and attached to a finished 8" concrete wall on lower level of 2 story home. Very rarely experienced pixelated picture during heavy rains and storms.
When I relocated the antenna to the window (as recommended by the manufacturer) in the install manual, the reception improved exponentially. Went from 9 crystal clear channels to 28.
I would highly recommend this product.

I needed this to receive local TV when my satellite provider got into a dispute with Raycom and NBC was blocked. I live a good distance from the city but this antenna was quick to install and delivered a perfect signal. I got to see the NFL season opener after all.

Functions well, some adjustment needed
Posted by: Dksionzyk from: on
Very minimal antenna, we get a nice variety of channels. However from day to day we may need to adjust the antenna to continue getting the signal. Not sure why it would shift frequently, but usually a couple of inches one way or another makes a big difference.

product is good but not for my needs

this antenna is not good if you 40 miles away from the towers ... I also bought a more expensive power unit that was similar and this non powered one did about as good as that. Before buying and antenna get online and check out one of the several sources that tell you how far you are from the broadcast antennas, and choose the type of antenna they recommend

terrible choice for cable substitute

the picture would cut in and out. sometimes the sound was even bad. in watching a show on this, you could easily miss a minute or two out of every five. thank goodness we had not had our cox turned off!
