Q: What is the cost of the TiVo service?
A: However, regardless of how good the features are, for many will be pricing. The Bolt alone is reasonable enough at $300 for 500GB of storage (about 75 hours of HD content) and $400 for a 1TB version (about 150 hours of HD content). The deal breaker is the service fee. Though the purchase price includes a year of service, after that you'll be paying $15 a month, $150 a year, or $600 for the life of the product, which TiVo is now calling "All In pricing." The lifetime pricing has never been a bargain, but it seems deliberately high to discourage getting it.
A: Tivo acts as your DVR (recorder) and streaming device. If you add Tivo Mini's (about $100 on sale) to your other TVs, they link to your main Tivo, so the answer is yes.

A: The TiVo bolts has Amazon video, Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, MLB.TV, Plex and VUDU (so far)

A: I have the Tivo Bolt, it has four tuners. So you can record four shows at one time, or, watch one and record three, and so on. If you have Tivo Mini's on your other TVs, you're still limited to the four tuners. If someone's watching TV in another room, that's one tuner, if you're watching somewhere else, that's another turner, you then only have two tuners left to record with.

A: yes it works with fios but you can't get on demand
Q: Will this work with TWC's CableCARD™ with Tuning Adapter?
A: We were able to use a Comcast CableCARD with no problems. If you already have the CableCARD in a TiVo, be sure to trade that in on another one at your Cable company for no charge so it will configure easily with the new TiVo Bolt. If you try to use the same card from an old TiVo it's a pain to configure because the card remembers the old TiVo settings and they interfere with the new TiVo.
