Q: Can you install office 2007 or 2010 ? Can you uninstall progs.?
A: It works just like a real PC so the rules are the same.Yes you can install what you want. I get so used to the iPad problems with it being a big phone I forget the Toshiba is a scaled down PC
Q: Does it support multiple users? If so, will Family Safety work on it?
A: The tablet does support multiple users. It works on a complete Windows 8.1 just like on a laptop or desktop, so you set up the users the same way you would on those using the pc settings. Just like on other PCs, you can also install programs for use on specified users only, or allow programs to be used by all users per your preference.
Q: Is this upgradeable to WIN 10 when it is available?
A: Yes, the Encore 2 tablets will be upgradeable to Windows 10 when Windows 10 is available.
A: A full day depending on how often you use it!!! I have the acre mainly for music.

A: Thanks for your question caitlin. This tablet comes with a 1 YEAR STANDARD LIMITED WARRANTY. One (1) Year Standard Limited Warranty (“Limited Warranty”) for the United States, United States Territories, Puerto Rico, Latin America, and the Caribbean. The warranty is limited to these regions and does not include the Netherlands.
Q: after the 1 year office subscription expires do you have to buy a new Office package?
A: Yes. This is only a one year subscription. You do have the option though to use it on one additional PC (laptop or desktop). The normal retail price for Office without the tablet would be about $100.
Q: Will I be able to read etexbooks?
A: yes just get the app that you need to read!
