Sorry I Left My Old Phone2 Posted by: from: NV on I have several Samsung TVs, a laptop and now this phone. It's the only one of their products I'm sorry I bought. Of course, I'm not sure if it's the fault of Samsung, Android/Google or Tracfone, but the erratic, arbitrary behavior of the phone is very annoying. One time something works, the next time it doesn't or it takes 12 tries to get it to do something it did before. I wanted to use up the minutes the old Tracfone was accumulating, but this is worse. There are a gazillion minutes in each of the three categories. There probably will STILL be a half a gazillion when I die......

pRICE good Battery OLD3 Posted by: from: Katy on I bought online and picked up at store. Easy and found out price was reduced by half, when picked up. Great customer service, was able to pick up extra memory for photos with their help. Using phone battery is worn , must charge often, does not last 7 days on standby as advertised. Considering pricing new Lithium battery. Use phone very little though so I can charge each night.

This phone is an upgrade2 Posted by: from: on This phone looked good in the reviews. After using them for quite some time, the touch screen is not as responsive as I would like. It seems to play games, at times it will turn off and on by itself.

Worst phone ever1 Posted by: from: on When the phone goes to stand by it won't ring to let you know you a call or signel you have a text most of the time. Even with the phone in stand by if it's in your pocket it will call someone on your contact list. Biggest waste of money

learning how to use4 Posted by: from: on I find the phone to be just great but I am still learning all the features. I use the online manual for such times and that is really helpful. I even showed my friend something that she hadn't done.

Shuts down for no apparent reason2 Posted by: from: on When it works, I really like the phone. My problem is that I have had it for about 8 months. It totally shuts down for no apparent reason - sometimes several times a day, sometimes less often. Most of the time in order to get it going again, I have to remove & replace the battery, Very frustrating. I emailed Samsung about this with no response. I have a friend with the same phone and the same problem.

Nice for a kids phone or older adult2 Posted by: from: on Bought for my daughter, 8yo..calls and text's are the only things she uses it for..and are the only thing that works fast, other option's internet etc that I tried are just way to slow.,, downloads,Internet etc. And even though tracfone runs on any of the major carriers network's signal strength varies greatly even from one side of the house to the other (did both by window ) also loses signal the farther you go (smaller distant town's ) but was able to still get signal on my Verizon phone (S4), and her previous tracfone was a lower end LG model which did get signal in same place as above. However if it's just used for basic calling in your home area and you don't need/use for travelling. For the price...it's worth putting in a glove box/kids backpack for emergencies or to ck on at friends house...so if you stay local or in populated area's even distant ie: Could use in say Chicago on way to Buffalo dead spots along the way but would be fine in buffalo and in almost any metro area along the way. ..they do offer better models ,most reasonably priced that would get better reception...and you can almost always find a few tracfones on sale....
