Q: Please confirm that this is a NET10 phone and Best Buy is incorrectly marketing it as a Tracfone?
A: The box says Net 10. I have Tracfone service and was able to use this phone. The phone is great, but it took about 3 hours on the phone (and on hold) with Tracfone before it happened. Once done, my phone number, all my existing minutes, data and text were transfer to the new phone. You will need a Tracfone BYOP SIM card, they cost $1.00.
Q: Why is this called a Tracfone when the model number is NT instead of TF? That would be a Net10
A: Good morning, Royer45. NET10 is an affiliated company of TracFone Wireless. The model number will not interfere in getting service with us and using TracFone service cards.
A: This is already a Tracfone branded phone and contains the SIM card necessary to operate on the service.
Q: Does this phone have voice and video recording capability?
A: Good morning, geronimo. Yes, it does. You would be able toi send short videos or voice notes using applications such as WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger. In addition, you can take videos with your rear camera and record your special moments. Voice recording is also available with this device.
Q: Will the days and minutes from my old Tracfone roll over to the new one?
A: I would imagine so if Best Buy sends you a Tracfone as listed in the ad. Otherwise they may send you a Net 10 phone like they did some of us and Net 10 phones will not work with Tracfone.
Q: do i need a new sim card or can i switch my current tracfone smart phone sim card into it?
A: Good morning, Steve. The new phone will come with its compatible SIM card. Switching SIM cars between phones may cause SIM card damage such as get it locked.

A: It's a no minutes for life phone, unless you use Net 10 maybe. This is a Net 10 phone that they send, not a Tracfone.
