Trident - Qi Charging Pad - White

Charges fine, made for keeping my phone at full during a work day easy. I found the connection chime to be very annoying when it reached capacity as it would continually chime every 2-3 minutes.

Got this to keep at my desk to simply charge my phone. It does exactly what I want with no hassles.

The product works fine, it does over heat sometimes , when using te UBS Plug that came with it.

It worked a couple of times.. Then it just burned out

It works like a charm, my google tablet had a broken charging port and now i never have to plug it in again charges fast and stays charged!

I bought this product so that I could charge a tablet that has a charging port which no longer works because of bent wires. This wireless charger has pretty much no instructions other than connect USB cord to charger and electrical outlet (um, duh). The box says you need a Qi-enabled device (what does that even mean? Is it an app? Actual phone by Qi?) or a Trident Qi case or adapter (sold separately). So, I'm confused how this works, what I need. This company should work on making the product easier to understand and use for the non-tech folks. Will update my review if and when I can get to the point of operation.

First of all, when I received the product one of the rubber feet was missing on the bottom. This exposed a screw that looked as if it had been tampered with before (as if this was a used item). However, I was willing to look past this and keep the charger. The next flaw I discovered was that there is a very bright LED that flashes green while charging. This is incredibly distracting if you like to charge your phone by your bed at night (like I do). However, this can easily be fixed by putting a bit of tape over the light. So at this point, I was still willing to overlook these flaws and keep the charger. Then, I discovered the biggest flaw at about 3 AM. The charger makes a very shrill tri-tone noise when the phone is placed on the charging pad. This isn't a huge problem, but when the phone is done charging, it makes another very loud tri-tone sound. This woke me up instantly. To make things worse, the coil stops charging once the phone is full, causing the phone to use its own battery power. As soon as the battery drops below 100%, it starts charging again, and thus makes the noise. This process repeats all night long. THERE IS NO WAY TO TURN OFF THE NOISE. This is a huge design flaw, and a definite deal breaker. TL;DR - If you charge your phone where you sleep, don't use this charger as it makes a loud beeping noise that you can't turn off.

Great Charger! It's fast and easy and works well with my trident case and Droid Maxx. The only thing is that it heats up but that's it.
