A: From what I'm aware of you also get the 2 year warranty as well. Just have to wait for the Elite registration part of the Turtle Beach website to go live and then you can register.
Q: Mic. issues
A: When I first got this head set I did run into a few issues with the Mic, my friends basically said I sounded far away when I was talking straight into the Mic. I updated the software by connecting it to my computer and it's been totally fine since then.
Q: will it work with the ps4 and the x box one?
A: It should because it is Bluetooth and base connects usb and optical which ps4 should also have . But I believe they have one for ps4 it's blue I believe . Hope his helped
Q: Proper set up configuration for the optical and usb connections?
A: Don't think that's possible. You have to connect the usb cable into the console you're using.
Q: does this work on the pc flawlessly?
A: Your computer must be equipped with a Dolby Digital Live sound card in order to get surround sound through the Turtle Beach Elite 800. It will work on a Windows or Mac OSX, but if your computer does not have a DDL sound card using a digital optical S/PDIF output, you will just get enhanced stereo audio and not surround sound.
A: Yes you can use with the ps4. You would need an optical splitter and run optical cable from ps4 and XB1 to splitter and from splitter to transmitter
Q: If there's headphone jack, then can't you just plug in a boom mic there?
A: I am not a expert on these but from the material that is included with the headset the headphone jack is for devices that don't have bluetooth like an old ipod i believe it's audio only. I had ASTRO 50's before this and my friends haven't complained about this headsets mic at all.
Q: Does the Bluetooth work for music? I mean can I stream music to them while playing.
A: Yes you can. Actually you can game, chat and listen to music all at the same time.
