Q: How far apart are the stand legs?

Q: What's the difference between the M & P series?
A: The 2015 Vizio M-series TVs are their latest 4K TVs. The 2014 P-series TVs were last years 4K TVs. Their prices are very similar but the 2015 M-series TVs have better motion interpolation settings and more detail when upscaling 1080p content. I have both the 2014 P-series and a new 2015 M-series. I prefer the 2015 M-series if the prices are the same.
Q: How far apart are the " feet"
A: 43.25" tip to tip.
Q: Option for center type pedestal foot?
A: Not that I can see. The tv comes with two legs that are attached close to each end at the back of the TV. No way to attach or modify to have stand in the middle
Q: C2 or C1
A: Get the 55" version. I read somewhere that the anything below 55" in the M series is not as good picture quality. Plus, 4K will only make a visible difference on larger screens.
Q: 120Hz effective refresh rate
A: The 60 and 30 refer to the standard frame rates; the 120hz refers to the refresh rate of the actual picture elements in the screen. While these are multiples of one another for a ragne of technical reasons, they are two very different things.
Q: Why are HD channels in 1080i and not 1080p?
A: Steve, my understanding is that 1080p takes up too much bandwidth for over-the-air (OTA) HDTV. Also, many OTA channels will broadcast in 720p, especially sports, since the lower resolution allows action to render better (i.e. quicker). I'm sure a good part of the decision for OTA broadcasters not moving toward 1080p is that they probably don't see a rate of return on investing in it. Even more so with 4K coming along. I may be wrong (I'm not an HDTV purist), but it's probably hard for the typical viewer to notice the difference between 1080i and 1080p anyway.
Q: No smart TV! Sees wired connection but "Download: Not Available"
