After much research I purchased the P65. The blacks are great, colors are superb and the 4K looks pretty amazing on this display. It is Dolby Vision compliant and it will do HDR10 with a soon to be released firmware update, so it's good to go no matter how the HDR10/Dolby Vision mess unfolds. Don't buy a TV from what you see in the store! Get on a reliable forum and do your research. This is the best Display 65" you can buy for less than 2k!

I have always purchased high end Sony and a few high end Samsung TVs. In fact I exchanged a Samsung KS8000 for this set due to backlight bleed issues. I am very tech oriented. I never really looked into a Vizio much in the past, however this display is a game changer that the big competitors need to take note from. From the incredible blacks and the bright vibrant high dynamic range, this display is an unreal value! The cast feature with the included tablet will no doubt take some time to learn for most, which seems to be the majority of lower scores. In the long run all manufacturers will be taking a similar approach. With that said I already love this take on a smart TV, it already feels old when I power up apps on my 2014 Sony XBR TVs. Keep up the great work Vizio!

Our 50" Toshiba began to have the "shadow effect" as the board needed replaced. We decided to upgrade to a 55" or 60" 4K. But when we got to the store we found they didn't have either in stock so we were lured to this as an open-box display. Given it was last years model and an open-box we were given a great price and after getting it home and up on the wall we couldn't be happier. Great picture and sound paired with a Vizio sound stand. We're DVR people so I didn't figure Chromecast was going to be a necessary thing but was I wrong. It has saved us already when something went long and screwed up a show! We streamed the show right from my phone in perfect HD! All and all - This is a great TV!

I purchased the HDR BluRay player and the images are way better than I expected. This tv is a great fit for m living room. I like the tablet remote for google play streaming. Works like a charm.

Bought this four months ago, LED array failed and now I'm left with a noticeably dim bar across the bottom of my screen. Vizio support has been very unhelpful in refunding me for this unit, so I can't recommend a purchase. Buy the Samsung KS8000 instead.
