Q: Does netflix play in the full 4K resolution
A: Alsmost all 2014 & 2015 Smart 4k tv's can stream Netflix in 4k if you pay for the 4k package (11.99 iirc) from netflix. Your fios should be more than adequate at 75/75. Earlier tv's didnt have the HVEC 265 decoders needed to do this. However NO TV manufacturers currently offer the VP9 codec that youtube uses for 4k. Not one. This will be changing this summer however and a massive You tube app update will be fixing this. Who will get the update? Only sure bets right now are Sony and Sharp (android TV models). Samsung and LG are solid maybes.
A: ME and my parents bought this exact same TV on 9/7/2015. At first it worked great.....a little over 30 days, I noticed a line running across the TV about 6 inches from the Top. Everything below the line was blurry. We called best buy, but since it was after 30 days of purchase, and we didn't purchase the "geek squad" extended warranty, they wouldn't do anything for us. So we called Vizio themselves about the Warranty. They ended up wanting to send us a "refurbished" TV. We argued with the customer service people that their offer was unacceptable considering how new it was, so they agreed to send us a new replacement. So far so good, but very odd on how it went defective in less than a week. Also its a shame that Best-buy wouldn't help us out considering the TV had a 1 year warranty from the manufacturer. I guess BestBuy does that cause they want to to pay for their "geek squad" extended warranty. in my opinion if the TV has a 1 year warranty, BestBuy should have to stand behind it and handle the replacements and all that for the 1 year.
Q: When will the Vizio Ultra HD tv be available?
A: In stores now.
Q: What is the width of the stand
A: the measurement from outside edges of the televisions legs are 33 3/4 inches from their outside widest points.
A: It's pretty bad under factory settings, but there is a gaming mode that makes lag nonexistent or at least non perceivable to me. I bought this mostly for playing Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain and I'm happy with the results.
Q: Can the Visio M43-1 be used with an antenna?
A: Yes. We have it connected to an antenna. We do not have cable. The TV has a built in digital tuner that is absolutely awesome.
Q: Diffeencece between Vizio Models
A: Vizio uses letters to differentiate their model years. B indicates a 2014 TV while C indicates their new 2015 lineup. The M (E or P) at the beginning indicates the product line, and this year their new M series is a 4k, not a 1080p TV. While it is smart and 4k and has the full array dimming that last years P series has it also is a 60hz tv with a much lower refresh rate. It says "effective 120hz" and therefore is inaccurate. Two alternatives, one better and one similar are recommended below. The Sony is a REAL 120hz and the Sharp says it's a 60hz upfront.
Q: Usage as a computer monitor?
A: Yes, I got it to work well but would strongly encourage HDMI 2.0 60 Hz output. It also helped me to upgrade my older USB 2.0 mouse to a newer model using USB 3.0. I hope this helps
