A: It updates by it self as long as you have the tv on a network
A: If you go to the Vizio web page you can compare all there TV's to each other. I have been looking at both the m series 75" model and the m series 80" model. The only difference other than glass size seems to be the audio portion of the tv. The 75" model has more speakers with higher output. Other than that the specs are identical. Seems kinda silly to pay $1000.00 more for 5 inches of glass. So I am leaning toward the 75" model. Hope this helps.
Q: What are the dimesions of the 80" Television
A: The dimensions of this product are as follows: 71.33”W x 40.96”H x 2.91”D.
Q: can this TV be hardwired to a network, or is WiFi the only option?
A: Can be hardwired to network with the availabe RJ45 connect
Q: How does the upscaling from 1080p to 4k look and compare to a samsung or sony ?
A: the pic is better than sony and Samsung ,remember vizio developed the 4k ultra upscale device .have tested all 6 major brands vizio is the best and has the brightest clearest picture by all most 49% difference,i have a vizio 80 inch tv and its absolutely fantastic.also you must buy an advanced oppo dvd playrer that is adjustable up to this TV's resolution.
Q: 4K Audio
A: The AVR would have to have 4K capability. This will work with DirecZTV 4K, but will require a 4K Genie Client (C61K) along with a Genie Server HR34, HR44, HR54 or the non-dvr equivalents of those models.
Q: When will this TV be released?
A: Already is
