An Ambitious and Fun Sandbox Game Posted by: from: US on As I first started playing Watch Dogs, I was blown away by what I experienced. First mission starts, it's stealth, and not only is the stealth really fun, the mood and setting totally sell the mission and opening of the game. Once you get out, you're introduced to the open world that Watch Dogs offers, and it's quite beautiful the first time you see it. Both the driving and gun combat are incredibly solid, but I'm more of a stealth guy when it comes to games, and Watch Dogs has delivered on that front. There's also a lot to see and do in the world, including hacking conversations, into bank accounts, seeing personal information of civilians, tons of side content, etc. It just offers so much. I must say that I'm also really enjoying the soundtrack. It has a lot more recent music recorded after 2000 like Spitalfield and Alkaline Trio, to name a few. In addition to all of the single player offerings, Watch Dogs has a very fun online component, and it's an absolute hoot. Granted, I haven't played all that much of it yet, but what I have played I have thoroughly enjoyed.

Competing for worst game of the year. Posted by: from: Michigan on A bad game. In every way a game could be bad. The story line, or plot, is not compelling and left me bored. I didn't want to do the next required mission because I had no reason to care and would never have chosen the plot path that I was forced into. Some of the puzzles were fun to figure out but most were just time consuming. Driving while hacking, which was lauded in the trailer, was almost impossible. You had to hold or push too many buttons simultaneously. The graphics were average with motion blur too high for a game with this expectation. NO, it is not my TV. It is the game. Does the same motion blur on four separate TV's that I have tried. This is a monotonous and boring game with bad plot. Done with this series forever.

Good But Not Great Posted by: from: on Ubisoft has designed another unique game. The game wasn't as visually impressive as I thought it could have been. Gameplay is fun in terms of figuring out the best way to hack into systems and get past large amount of guards without just guns blazing. I think the game has potential and is certainly worth a buy to see how Watch Dogs 2 will improve.

Fun with Hacking - Quick Watch Dogs Review Posted by: from: MD on If you love GTA V, you are going to love Watch Dogs! The story is interesting enough to hold your attention. Speaking of attention, if you are easily distracted by side missions and collectibles, then you will never finish this game! The is ALOT to do in Watch Dogs, which isn't a bad thing. Multiplayer is okay. The added twist of a random person (hacker), hacking your game is fun. And the excitement grows as you try and find the hacker and deal with them. Best part is, the hacker looks like a regular person and can hide in plain sight. Wish Ubisoft made it easier to team up with a group of friends to play various game types against others. Overall, it's a pretty good time. Lots to do, good storyline, and hacking. NOT A KIDS GAME! Enjoy!

4 stars Posted by: from: on Here's the funny thing: I don't play video games. I just watch my boyfriend play them. He first got WatchDogs when I bought him a ps4 for Christmas (here's where you go, danggg, what a good girlfriend!) and his brother gave him WD. I started off by not paying any attention to my bf as he played, but I would hear him talking to himself trying to figure stuff out, so naturally, I went over to see what the game was about. I walked in on one of the movie/cut scenes and was instantly drawn in. I joined him on the couch and watched the cut scenes. My BF even let me drive/wreck some of the cars whenever he was trying to get to new target areas. Anyway, the animation is good. The story line is deep as F, and the cars are nifty. There's some great music, some intense plots, and also a lot of logic. We were both sad when he completed the game, but there's still plenty of little quests you can do on the side.

Overall Good Game...Not "wow" great, but good. Posted by: from: Coral Springs, Florida on I played this game yesterday before going to bed (played about 2 hours) and overall I was okay with the game. I love these types of games that replicate an actually city where you can drive anywhere do anything and whenever you want to do it (like GTA). I would have liked to be more interested in the story line but so far no luck (may change after some time) but I feel like I can compare it more to Sleeping dogs as the play was cool but wasn't interested in it once I beat it. Overall good game to play and beat. Not a great game to play, beat, and keep as I will probably be selling this back once I beat. I would have probably given it 5 stars prior to playing GTA 5 but there wasn't a "wow" factor in this game after playing GTA 5.
