A: I can't see any reason why not. I have the unit attached to my wireless router, making it part of my home network. My Dell desktop is wired to the router, and my laptop connects via wi-fi. As I see it, any device that is part of your home network can make use of the device. I can't see any reason why your Latitude wouldn't work perfectly satisfactorily directly connected to the drive.
