A: No, this is a WD 'Green' drive. It is intended for storage. If you are looking for a primary or boot drive, this is not the best choice. It is designed to 'spin down' after a short period of non-use to conserve power. For a boot drive, look to the WD Black or Blue drives.
Q: does this harddrive work with playstation 4?
A: Not to replace the internal drive. PS4 uses a 2.5" Drive (usually labelled Laptop). This is a 3.5" drive, so it wont' physically fit inside. Laptop drives are more expensive due to the small size. A: No, it's a 3.5 drive. Desktops internal. They do have a laptop drive, but this one isn't it.
