Q: Anyone ever carbon copy their primary drive to this one and use this a primary boot device?
A: Yes, I used Carbon Copy Cloner and used it as an external boot drive. It worked perfectly. I wish the price on the drive was lower but it's cutting edge right now so it's to be expected. Fantastic Drive!!!
Q: Is this Thunderbolt 2 compatible. I have older Macs with Thunderbolt. thanks
A: I don’t believe it is thunderbolt capable. It is however compatible with usb 2.0 and usb 3.0
A: You can format this drive at NTFS, but as a removable drive, I would highly recommend that you format it as exFAT instead.
