I purchased this TV in May 2015 and I was very skeptical about buying this TV because of some bad reviews online. I took a chance and bought it and it still functions today!! Even though 720p everything looks very detailed and pretty. So I encourage you to buy this TV as it is very affordable and worth every penny.

I purchased this TV on November 30, 2015. Six months later it would not turn on. I contacted Westinghouse and I was told the unit was defective and needed to be repaired. I was then told that I would need to pay for the return of the defective TV. The cost to package and return was over $100. This essentially makes their warranty worthless. If they truly stood behind their products they would cover the return cost.

Good performance, so/so visual design
Posted by: EDK15 from: on
My main use for this television is as a computer monitor and at small intervals, an ACTUAL television set. I found this set to be comparable or even cheaper in price when compared to an Insignia-brand model of the same size and features.
I've owned my set for a year and it's performed well every day. The picture quality is great, the speakers are clear (especially for built-in speakers), and I haven't experienced any issue with any of the ports (I connect to my PC using HDMI). I find the colors are correct and bright to my eye, and the images are tack-sharp.
Here are some cons. I noticed the television images are cropped further than usual and changing the aspect ratio doesn't help (images included). Operating the controls via rocker buttons (why?!) on the body is confusing, and after year, still gets me. The menu design is horrible, using kiddie-designed clip art. And the placement of the RF connector makes it awkward to say the least.
Overall, this television is a solid choice, and although there are some visual cons (especially the cropped television image), it is overall a good TV that competes with Best Buy's "house" brand.

Not the greatest TV in the world, but it's perfect for what I needed. A low cost, decent quality tv backed by a great return policy makes Westinghouse a solid choice.

Westinghouse 32" 720p TV - Very Nice
Posted by: Calculator from: on
This is a great smaller, lower cost TV if you don't need or want a Smart TV. The 720p gives excellent picture quality. It's very hard to see the picture quality difference between 720p & 1080p on a TV this size, so you can save some money over buying a 1080p one . The input versatility is better than most other similar TVs - It has 3 HDMI inputs, Not just 2, it also has a combo Composite / Component video input, not just Composite and it also has a VGA input to connect your computer! The picture quality is great, however the sound quality is not so good, but that's to be expected on most TVs of this size. It's fine for most viewing. It should be possible to connect 2.1 "powered" computer speakers to this TV since it also has a Headphone audio output jack. I have not tried that yet, but it would be a lot cheaper than a Soundbar with subwoofer!

Great basic LED screen!

Needed a larger screen above our kitchen fridge....to watch while grabbing a bite or doing some cooking. Not watched "for hours" at a time, but for 720p and not plugged into cable HD, delivers a good quality picture. With an HD cable box, think this would be great for bedroom, or any smaller space viewing. It's a "good go for short dough" and gets the job done!

Great monitor for Presentations
Posted by: Djack207 from: on
Was looking for a monitor for the new front office computer. Did the homework and found this monitor worked great to turn around and use for presentations but not large enough to make it hard to work with. Great deal and not fuzzy at all. Great product.

Good tv for the price. Don't let the brand name full you.

Great "First TV" for college students
Posted by: AJat47995 from: on
I looking for something that would be compatible with my VCR and not kill my "broke college student" budget, so this was the perfect find. 32 inches, great picture, and a better deal than the 24-inch TVs at other retailers. Thanks, Best Buy!

Good TV Great Price
Posted by: JohnfromBrooklyn from: on
I bought this TV to hang on the wall in my home office. The picture is good and the sound is OK as well. I use it with a small flat antenna and a Fire Stick. It does exactly what I wanted it to do. The price is great. It took a while for me to decide to make this purchase but I don't know why. If you are looking for a good TV at a great price, this is it.
