Q: How Large of an area in my home will the wifi handle & how many devices
A: This has been able to handle our needs for wifi on both levels in our house. We have 5 devices that we use off it without any issues.
Q: will this work with Time Warner
A: Yes, this router is certified for use with Time Warner cable.
Q: Will this work with Xfinity
A: Yes. It is the same one they rent at 10.00 a month.
Q: Should I buy a dual - band router instead of this model?
A: A dual band router theoretically will allow faster speeds, by letting you setup some devices to use one band and others to use the second band. In reality, there's not not much improvement. This device should work fine, because most folks don't understand that you have to configure the two bands in the first place and use them both.
A: Seems to be just fine for our xbox live. No probs had it since november 2015
Q: Does this include a LAN line?
A: it does not have a connection for a phone. TWC told me they will only use their equipment for phone. Good news is, they do not charge for that - only the cable modem.
A: Yes, it works. The technician who came to install my xfinity service told me that it will say it in the box of the router. this one is good for cable and wi-fi.
Q: will this item handle all three devises
A: Yes, this router will work with Time Warner Cable and handle all three.
