Black Sabbath made a two-pronged comeback in 1980 and 1981 when Ronnie James Dio joined their ranks as their new lead singer for the platinum albums, Heaven And Hell and Mob Rules. On the 1982 Mob Rules U.S. tour, they decided to record shows to create the first official Black Sabbath live album. The recordings capture the ferocious chemistry and dark magic that defined this incarnation of Black Sabbath with thrilling live versions of recent tracks like InchNeon Knights,Inch InchThe Sign Of The Southern Cross,Inch InchVoodoo,Inch and InchChildren Of The Sea.Inch The album also honored the band's original lineup with Dio-led versions of Sabbath classics like InchParanoid,Inch InchWar Pigs,Inch InchIron Man,Inch and InchN.I.B.Inch. Although it was hailed by influential heavy metal magazine Kerrang! As Inchone of the greatest live albums of all timeInch in 1983, the band was never completely satisfied with the original mix. Now we are able to present a fresh, new 40th anniversary mix of the entire album, remixed from the original analog multi tracks by longtime associate of the band, Wyn Davis. The packaging will also include a 40-page hard back book featuring a newly commissioned 12,000-word essay, the new remix as a double LP, as well as the original double album, newly remastered in 2022 by Andy Pearce.     Breaking Out Of Heaven 2007-2009 - Ronnie James Dio joined Black Sabbath for 1980's platinum selling Heaven And Hell album. When Dio regrouped with Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice between 2007 and 2009 they did so under the name Heaven & Hell. They released the live albums Live at Radio City Music Hall in 2007 and Neon Knights Live at Wacken in 2009, plus their sole studio album The Devil You Know in 2009. These recordings are now collected together as Breaking Out Of Heaven 2007-2009 on a 7LP box set, featuring the aforementioned live shows in their entirety. These were the last recordings made by Ronnie James Dio before he sadly passed away in 2010, and represent a fitting testament to the music he made with Black Sabbath, featuring tracks from Heaven And Hell, Mob Rules, Dehumanizer and The Dio Years.
