Q: Does this work for a Samsung Galaxy S9?
A: Yes it will. That is what I am using mine for to charge my Galaxy S9 from my computers USB port
A: yes - if you have a 'normal' USB adapter to plug into 110V outlet or cigarette lighter, etc. and the other end should connect to your new iPad Pro if it requires USB-C. Technically, it is an USB-A to USB-C cable.
