Excellent keyboard for it's value, considering most mechanical keyboards are priced above the $99 mark. The brown switches of give a nice confirming tactile feel without the loud clickiness of blue switches. A perfect keyboard for typists or programmers that are working in an office and don't want to disturb their co-workers. The base of the keyboard has a slight flex to it if pressed hard enough, and the key-caps have a bit of a cheap feel to them. But, when considering it's price, it's a fantastic deal.

If you like the feel and sound of a traditional keyboard, you'll love this one. The soft backlighting is a real plus in lower light situations. I've been using a Logitech wireless keyboard for years and didn't know if I'd like being chained to the computer again with a cable. But I've readily discovered I didn't need a fully mobile keyboard. The cable is long enough to occasionally place the keyboard on my lap as prior. Great keyboard.

This keyboard did exactly what I wanted. Replaced an old Dell keyboard, but I wanted the same button layout, spacing and footprint so that I had a seamless transition. Logitech had a great website for the various types of mechanical keys, the sounds they make and the resistance required with each keystroke. Based on that information, I selected the keyboard with brown switches. Backlighting is only in white, but has various modes. I just keep it on the standard setting because I really don't care about lighting, but can't see the letters on the keys well without the lighting on. The only downside to the keyboard is that the font used is a little hard to read on the keys for letters, numbers and symbols. Some are fine to read and look normal, but then things like the ampersand are just stupid.

If you want a "clicky" keyboard for an OK price this isn't too bad. It has been feeling better after some use. "Break-in period??" The hardest part was just getting used to a full size keyboard again after so many laptop and membrane keyboards. Like so many others, not sure what they were thinking with the lettering on the key switches but have got used to it. The backlighting is nice since where I usually type is not well lit. Is it like an old IBM Selectric - no. Is it like an old IBM keyboard - no. Would I buy another one for another system if needed - very likely. It's been awhile since purchase and has been doing well - no complaints there.

Good quality, good feel, I just wished it was a little harder to press the keys, but I did not try other options from Logitech before purchasing. But it is fine. You should go somewhere where they have the different key options for the same model keyboard, but it is difficult. What might be a soft key for one person, maybe too hard for other. At the end it is better than regular non mechanical switches.

This keyboard was a good fit for me. The keys are high-relief, provide the typical clicking sound for a mechanical keyboard, and the white back-lit keys really make them easy to see. These are all attributes I was looking for. Pressing the 'FN' key in combination with any of the 'F' keys such as F1, F2, etc., provides alternate functionality, primarily media player navigation keys, speaker volume keys, and shortcut keys. The outside of the box that the keyboard comes in identifies each key's alternate function. In addition, a small symbol for each 'F' key's alternate function is shown displayed on the key itself under the lit 'F'. However, these symbols are not lit so you really have to look close to see them. I would have liked to see these symbols lit as well, but since I use them infrequently it's not a big deal for me. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and would buy it again.

Cherry MX red switches!!!!! Love love love this keyboard. Feels like a $500 keyboard, back lighting is sleek, color is sleek and just overall outstanding performance. I absolutely hate new keyboard with pressure pads. If you’re looking for a clicky keyboard and don’t want to spend hundred and hundreds of wasteful dollars then this is the one for you.

The Good: -simple design that doesnt look over the top -blue switches provide a satisfying click with great feedback -board body is aluminum, giving it a premium feel The Bad: -switches can not be removed/replaced -function key symbols do not light up -no user manual included, so you have to figure out all the functions yourself or look it up -the indicator lights for the number/caps/screen locks do not dim along with the rest of the keyboard if you turn down the backlight brightness. Could be a non-issue for most but for some, especially those in a dark room might find it glaring The Ugly: -the @ symbol on the keyboard just looks weird lol

The "responsive" switches correspond to TTC Browns which is Logitech's house brand of Cherry MX Browns. Everyone has a preference and these are clicky, snappy, there's a fair bit of travel for key slappers like me. And all my other key slappers, this thing is LOUD, even for browns. It's because the keys will collide with the aluminum top of the board. I love it, but this is super subjective. I would NOT recommend this for office use or if you shared a kitchen table home office with a partner/roommate. But if you're in your own personal nerd cave and want a slappy, responsive mechanical keyboard for $60, this is the one.

I really like typing on this keyboard. Good tactical feel with the brown switches. Just enough clicky without too much clicky. I am happy with this purchase.

Affordable mechanical keyboard from Logitech. The footprint is small around a full-size, right-spaced keyboard. All the keys fall readily to hand if you've used desktop keyboards over the last 40 years. Three choices in key click feel/sound and the choice of Logitech or Cherry switches. It's all here. I've used for over a year and it's still as satisfying as day one. I also get lots of comments about my key click in the office.

good keyboard in all ways but one.. Both control keys have become yellowed after about a year of use (no food or drink spilled on or near the keyboard). Just both control keys, not any of the other keys. Ive probably pressed the right control key 3 times in my entire ownership of the keyboard so this is a very strange issue to have.

Very good business aesthetic with decent feeling switches. If you're looking for a budget mechanical keyboard, especially if you're interested in gaming, you'd be better off waiting for sales on EVGA, Razer, or Corsair keyboards as they'll usually drop down to a similar price and will be equipped with higher quality switches. That being said, for someone who's interested in something that's more professional-looking and don't mind slightly cheaper feeling switches, this is a pretty competent alternative. They keyboard is plasticky and has moderate flex, but isn't so cheap and brittle that it'd snap if you dropped it from chest height. The switches feel very similar to their Cherry MX counterparts with maybe a bit more wobble, but the unit I purchased has a bit more tactility if you're comparing the Brown switches. Unsure about longevity, though. Keycaps are thin and cheap feeling, but that's the case with most off-the-shelf keyboards regardless of price. Backlit LEDs shine through well, though, for those intending to type in the dark.

I've owned this keyboard for about 2 years, and it still performs admirably. I type a LOT every single day and is has been very reliable. However, I am disappointed in the individual key backlights. They have started to fail at an alarming rate. I just noticed 1 was out about a month ago, and now the total is up to five. They key labels are very hard to read once the light goes out. Even though I am a touch typist, I must use the letter "P" to establish my HOME position and I really miss it!

Good keyboard for the price. Keys feel really good and aren't super clicky (I chose Brown Switches.) The keys feel comfortable and give a good feeling when pushed so I know I pushed a key. The backlighting is just what I needed. Mostly you just see the characters lighting up, but there is a bit of light underneath. The face plate is a silver color that spreads the light so it isn't intense beneath the keys. I don't know who would need some of these lighting effects. The only one I really care for is the one that lights up each key you press, but the others are neat for a few seconds. Also, like others have mentioned, the Scroll lock/Num lock/Caps lock lights cannot be dimmed and are pretty intense. I think that's the only thing I dislike about this. The keys all have a custom font, which doesn't make them look too different from normal, but adds a bit of style.
