This is the second time I am getting Mint Mobile prepaid cell phone service for my elderly father and it has been great both the times. Mint uses T-mobile network here in Folsom, CA region and the service has been pretty reliable, voice quality is crystal clear and data speeds are pretty good all with 5G. I do not have any complaints at all and have no hesitation to use them again.

1 out of 3 months in of service and so far so good. I have a 5G compatible unlocked phone and I get 5G+ most of the time. I have family in Mexico and I am happy I can make calls there. Im saving 50% on my prior regular service prepaid bill, so im pretty happy with Unlimited 5G Data, Calls and Texts.

10GB is a terrific amount of data. Coverage is good if you don't go to the boonies. Can't beat the price.

It's the best gaming system out there. I've never had a problem with it either. Still working like brand new.

I have had Mint Mobile for about 7 months now. I got on sale at BBY I think last July 4th (2020) sale and had to wait for my Verizon Wireless plan to run out first. I bought the 1 yr plan and with sale and credit card cash back offer for BBY, it came out to about $8 a month for me to prepay for the 3GB/mo plan. I wasn’t really needing to use my cell phone much the past year away from home anyways so why pay $65 a month for 5GB plan at VZ? I did test out the signal at various locations around my metro area and it worked fine. A recent plus is Mint Mobile upgraded me to 4GB per month at no extra charge.

Purchased this along during the buy 3 months get 3 additional months for free. Really worth the value. The T-Mobile signal is very good and has really high speeds. The only downside is this doesn't come with T-mobile Tuesdays. Set up requires using the website or app.

There is no better deal for cellular than this deal period everyone should be on Mint Mobile and pay just 15.00 per month and purchasing thru best buy makes it super easy, buy the sim, put it in your unlocked phone, turn it on, and poof you have service. Thank you Jeffrey

Honestly this is the best value for getting unlimited data and unlimited talk for $90 for every three months which equates about $30 per month if you go with the other mint mobile plans you won’t see the same

The phone service has been very reliable and easy to use. Setup was simple, and the connection has been clear for calls and data. I have not experienced major issues with signal, and the service works well for everyday use like calling, texting, and browsing. The price is reasonable for what you get, and overall it has been a dependable option. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a straightforward and reliable phone service.

MINT MOBILE has been my go-to for the last 5 years. I have even changed my grandsons over to this service. There is no hassle if you want to activate it on your own. And the only hassle would be if you want to keep your same phone number and the carrier that you are switching from refuses to give you the information you need even after your bill has been paid. I can not do it yet, but the Unlimited is really-really best at the 1year purchase price. But you can always go into your account and switch your plans as needed. If Ryan Reynolds completely leaves and they start nipping at the good deals, then I will probably leave too. For now... I'm not going anywhere!

The Mint Mobile three-month trial is honestly one of the easiest and most affordable ways to test out a new phone service without committing to a long contract. I picked it up to use with an extra phone so I could stay in touch with family while they were overseas, and the whole setup process couldn’t have been simpler. Mint sends everything you need in one small kit, and activating the SIM through their app takes just a few minutes. It walks you through each step—pop in the SIM, follow the prompts, and you’re up and running. No confusing menus, no long wait times, and no calling customer service just to get started. What I appreciated most was how reliable the service was for something marketed as a trial. Calls were clear, texts went through immediately, and mobile data performed well for everyday tasks. Since I was using it specifically to communicate with family abroad, I really liked that Mint includes affordable international options and Wi-Fi calling. It made staying connected smooth and stress-free, especially when using the second phone as a dedicated line for check-ins and messaging. Coverage was solid too. Mint runs on T-Mobile’s network, so if you get good T-Mobile service in your area, the experience feels just like using a standard carrier but without the big price tag. The trial also lets you choose from different data amounts, so you’re not stuck with a plan that doesn’t match your usage. The three-month window is generous and gives you enough time to see how Mint fits your routine—not just a few days like other trial offers. For me, it worked perfectly as a temporary line, and I appreciated how low-pressure the entire experience was. Overall, the Mint Mobile trial is a great way to test out a reliable, budget-friendly carrier. It’s easy to set up, has solid performance, and works especially well for extra lines or short-term needs like staying connected with family overseas.

I switched to Mint Mobile several years ago and they’ve exceeded my expectations. I switched from AT&T, but have also used Verizon, Sprint, T- Mobile, and even tried Cricket in the past. My service is great. I pay way less for cell phone usage than I used too by far. The rare occasions (maybe two total) that I’ve had to contact customer service did not leave me feeling frustrated. I highly recommend that if you enjoy quality products while keeping more of your coins in your pocket that you make the switch!

I switched to Mint Mobile in 2018 from a post paid T-Mobile account. Since they use the same towers I knew I would have no issues with service. I was on the mid-tier plan with 5GB of 4G data which they upped to 8GB at no extra cost. The service is great and have only experienced noticeable deprioritization during two different concerts. Though that's kinda to be expected. Speeds are great in my area and comparable to the speeds I get through my home Internet service provider. Usually around 100Mbps download; much better than other prepaid providers. I made sure to get a phone that is compatible with the service, currently I am using the Google Pixel 3aXL which I bought unlocked from BestBuy. The screenshot is of a speedtest taken on my phone using Mint Mobile (though my phone displays it as T-Mobile on its status indicator and through the speedtest app).
