The Sonos Amp is an excellent solution for anyone looking to power high-quality speakers while keeping everything modern and easy to use. I recently purchased the Amp 250W 2.1-Channel Amplifier, and I’ve been very impressed with its overall performance. I have been an avid Bose guy for years...when I had the opportunity to change things up, I decided on Sonos. This decision was based at first on the ease of use of the Sonos One and how I could connect multiple rooms with the touch of a button...for years, I spent tons of money on Bose and anytime I wanted to upgrade to the next version, I just couldn’t justify the cost. With the advent of streaming music and having the control of these systems with my phone, I chose Sonos. I have a Sonos One in almost every one including outside that I installed in a gazebo...see pictures. I decided on this setup because will we be building out a pool soon, and wanted to wait on installing hard wired speakers until then. Since this review is on the new Sonos Amp...I’ll discuss that setup. I have a 75in Samsung 4K TV with the Sonos Playbar...I wanted surround sound, so I got the Amp and two Yamaha 6.5in in ceiling speakers...I installed the Amp and the speakers and am blown away with the sound!! Other than going into the attic, installation was as simple as a new Sonos One. I had it setup outside of the attic in 10-15 minutes. I have included a couple pics of what I did. So happy on this purchase and when I get the pool, I’ll be getting another Amp and a couple more Yamaha speakers:-)

I purchased a Sonos-AMP 250W 2.1-Ch Amplifier for delivering music throughout my built-in home speakers. It delivers crisp great music! The installation was easy, fast and I can control the whole system through my cell phone. I highly recommend this amplifier!!

This is my second amp and i just live the ease of use. I am able to connect everythibg add and ready to listen. My first amp was for out door speakers and now this is for a pair of Sonance rear speakers in out living room. I know these are not cheap but the delayed gratification pays off knowing your are gettibg this quality amp each time. Definitely plan on addibg more for streamlined listening throughout the house.

Works great! I surprised my husband with this (and ceiling speakers from Best Buy) for his birthday and it was a win! Sound is first rate and works great when watching action items like sports or action adventure movies. Highly recommend!

We purchased the amplifier a large TV mounting system and mounting system for a Sonos sound bar. We mounted our TV over a fireplace. The technicians did a fantastic job. We now have great sound for the TV and for music.

Awesome sound, wanted a system we can add streaming to from phone to replace Bluetooth (Fosi Audio). This filled that need but so much more too. Can stack systems and create rooms. Seems unlimited for whole house audio and beautiful sound. It’s pricey but worth it. Added the mini sub to it already and just intensifies the sound.

Easy to set up and fits in tight spaces. My in ceiling speakers sound crisp and clear.

My Sonos Amp is paired up with a pair of B&W AM-1’s. I’m blown away on how well they sound. This is my second Sonos amp. The first one purchased last year is also paired up with B&W speakers (600 series) and a Yamaha sub. There’s a reason why I bought another one. It truly is a solid product. Now that I covered the good here comes the bad. During set up the amp was a challenge to get going. I must have have gone through the process four or five times before finally it was added to my network. If your willing to go through the set up process I’d bet you’d be happy with the end result.

I needed to replace the amp that powers my outdoor speaker. After initial hesitation I went with the Sonos AMP. I can't believe how much it has improved the sound on my deck. Speakers have always been good, but now having the right power source I'm really happy. Great purchase. would definitely recommend

Most overlooked amp … First of all to say it’s not only for Sonos product… it’s for simplistic and effective HiFi system set up … Big thanks to Eldarado Best Buy Consultant Gabriel … he is the one who recommended this product to me and I have no doubt it’s the best product to power my Passive speaker set up … I used this product to power Martin Logan Motion 15i and source Sonos sub + two Sonos1 SL for surround sound .. I needed a HIFi system for my living room hence no wires all around my room to meet my criteria I am not sure is their any other product in the market which can deliver this simplistic and effective sound system …

I can’t believe I didn’t get this sooner! This system is amazing, the sound is unbelievable. Clear, loud, and very easy to use!! Totally great when we need to entertain. Recommend, recommend, recommend!!!

Works so well I bought 5! The process to set up is so easy and fast! I have very limited knowledge on how to set up audio systems, but was able to set this up in no time. Very much plug and play. The Sonos app takes you through each step to get you playing music or connecting your surround sound quickly. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for an audio amp.

Speakers have great clarity, highs and lows are really good and midrange makes TV conversations clear without the need for subtitles

Works just like an amp should. Now if SonoS could get the app lag etc fixed.
